Jiang Zemin

He can put on all the tri-corner hats he wants, and stand in front of the Liberty Bell as much as he likes.

He's still a murdering dictator. I feel sorry for the decent people of China who have to live under the vicious, tyrannical government that Jiang Zemin is in charge of.

When I go to the store, I look for "made in the USA" first, and am willing to pay a little bit extra to support my country. I will buy "made in China" only if there is no other option. I don't like the idea of my money going to finance China's slave labor camps, and I hope you don't either!

Microsoft ©®™

NOTE: Microsoft ©®™ is a registered trademark of the Microsoft Corporation of Redmond, Washington. I am saying this because I don't want to get a tort in the mail tomorrow.

The 5 Nov 1997 issue of the San Jose Mercury News has an article stating that Earthlink, an Internet Service Provider, signed an agreement to be included in a list of ISPs. Part of the agreement said that Earthlink could only offer its customers Internet Explorer unless the customer asked for another browser. Earthlink was forbidden to "express or imply that an alternate browser is available."

But, of course, Microsoft ©®™ would never do anything anticompetitive; they've said so many times that they simply offer the best product and let the customers decide what to buy.

Chautauqua County

It's bad news for all the women in Jamestown, New York, USA, who were infected with the AIDS virus. There appears to be plenty of blame to go around, and finger-pointing isn't going to do any good.

I do wonder what comments Mr. Michael Fumento has on this whole situation. He's the guy who wrote a book titled The Myth of Heterosexual AIDS.
